EVANS ONLINE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We hope at Evansport OnLine, like the rest of our shop, you will find our terms and conditions clear and easy to understand. Our conditions comply fully with UK legislation and Distance Selling regulations. Please do not hesitate to call or email us if you have any questions. It is assumed that by making a purchase through Evansport OnLine, you accept Evansport OnLine Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

Prices
All prices are in Pounds Sterling (£) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the Standard Rate unless Zero Rated under government regulations - for example child sized sports clothing. Prices may be changed without notice.
Product Descriptions and Images
The products we display have details of their main features, however, it is not possible to list their complete specification. Where errors do occur they will be corrected as soon as they are identified. Full product specification is frequently available from the relevant manufacturers web site or brochure. Images, where shown, are representations of the products offered by Evansport OnLine and are mainly sourced from the manufacturer. All images, their colours and styles are intended to be a fair representation of the product offered but may differ from those of the actual product supplied due to image quality or availability.
Payment
Payment can be made via our secure online payment provider using Visa, Master Card, Delta or Switch. There are also options to pay by cheque, in which case goods are not despatched until your cheque has been received and cleared by our bankers, or to apply for an online credit account - see introduction page to Evans OnLine shop.
All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will notify you immediately. We will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery arising.
Receipts
All customers placing an order will be provided with an invoice, both by email and to the specified delivery address. Please contact us if you suspect your invoice to be incorrect and we will rectify it.
Availability
We do our very best to show online only products we have in stock (unless otherwise stated i.e. special orders). However, popular products can go out of stock very quickly. In the unlikely event of this happening, when we receive your order we will email you with the expected delivery time. If you decide not to continue with your order any sum debited by us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and we will notify you at the email address given by you in your Evansport OnLine account. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order.
Price Promise
Many prices are the same as or lower than 2008 catalogue prices and illustrate Evansport OnLine commitment to offering the best of deals - our unique price promise. Special Offer prices are genuine reductions and lower in comparsion to the original price previously appearing in the Evans 2008 catalogue. See product description for price category in terms of above description.
Security
Evansport OnLine take all possible precautions to protect the information you provide, both online and offline. To us, secure electronic privacy is crucial to the way business is conducted over the Internet. Your privacy is our concern. Your credit card details are verified by our contracted secure online payment gateway provider. This means that Evans Online do not see your card details, nor are they recorded in our shop database.
Delivery
See "Shipping and Returns" link on the main shop page. As the range of sporting goods and equipment offered by Evansport OnLine (especially as the shop grows) can vary so much in size, weight and shape, we utilise various carriers to deliver orders. Additionally, though we only deliver within the United Kingdom, some destinations are more challenging thank others, so resulting in some cases for shipping to be subject to quotation.
Some large products, such as but not exclusively, gymnasium equipment, table tennis tables, fitness machines may be delivered direct by the manufacturer using their preferred delivery method.
Complaints Procedure
In the event that Evansport OnLine fail in meeting their long established and high standards of customer service, an email should be sent to shop@evansport.co.uk or made in writing using Royal Mail and addressed to Customer Services at the address at the head of these conditions.
Please provide as much detail of your complaint as possible, including product details, dates and times of communication with our company as applicable. We normally respond to all complaints within 3 working days
Guarantee
Most products supplied by Evansport OnLine come with a manufacturers guarantee for a minimum period of one year from the date of purchase - see product description. This guarantee does not apply to sports consumables such as tennis balls, table tennis balls, wall charts, etc. It excludes faults caused by accidental damage, misuse or neglect.
Your Right to Cancel
Evansport OnLine wants you to be delighted with your order. When goods have been correctly supplied as ordered, but upon receipt, are no longer required, the return of same for credit will only be accepted with our prior agreement and providing that the goods in question are unused and in a resaleable condition when received back at our warehouse.
There is a minimum charge of £25 per package deducted from any credit issued to cover outward & return carriage costs along with a 20 per cent handling charge.
Return freight is entirely at the customer's own risk.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
On receipt of your goods from Evansport OnLine, please inspect and inform us immediately of any damages or missing items within 48 hours of delivery. Orders delivered by courier and NOT signed for as damaged will not be valid for a claim. Such reports/damage claims can be emailed to shop@evansport.co.uk. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. If your goods develop a fault within 28 days of receipt please contact us to arrange return and inspection. We will exchange or refund the item provided it is as new and has no faults caused by accident, misuse or neglect. If your goods develop a fault after 28 days and within its 12 months guarantee we will arrange to repair and return or replace the product to you free of charge. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Non-receipt or deficiencies
Non-receipt or deficiencies must be notified in writing within 10 days of invoice date.
Refunds are made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. Evans OnLine will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
